Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These terms apply to RunOrder (run-order.com), provided by Polychrome Limited, a company registered in New Zealand (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using RunOrder you agree to them.
1. The service
RunOrder lets organisers create event timelines and share them with guests, attendees and parents, including countdowns, running-late updates and optional alerts.
2. Accounts
- Organisers need an account. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
- You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to create an account.
- Guests can view shared events without an account.
3. Credits and payment
- Creating an event uses one credit of the matching type. Credits don't expire.
- Prices are shown before you buy. Taxes are added where required.
- Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles payment, invoicing, sales tax and refund processing. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
4. Free beta
During the free beta, people with a valid beta code can create events at no charge until the date shown. The beta is provided as-is, features may change, and we may end it with notice. Events created during the beta stay available after it ends.
5. Refunds
Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. See the Refund Policy.
6. Your content
- You own the content you add to your events (names, times, logos and notes). You give us permission to store and display it to provide the service.
- Anyone with an event's share link can view it. Don't add information that shouldn't be public, and only list people (including children) where you have permission.
- You must not use RunOrder for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading, or try to break or overload the service.
7. Alerts and availability
Alerts depend on each person's phone, settings and connection, and on third-party services such as Apple and Google. We work hard to keep RunOrder running and alerts on time, but we can't guarantee every alert will arrive or arrive on time. Don't rely on RunOrder as the only way to tell people about safety-critical or time-critical information.
8. Liability
- To the extent the law allows, RunOrder is provided “as is” and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- We're not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or missed opportunities.
- If you're using RunOrder for business purposes, you agree the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 does not apply. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using RunOrder at any time and ask us to delete your account using the contact form. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll let account holders know before they take effect.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
